Formed in Münster, FRG in 1991, H-Blockx was a punk-tinged alternative metallic element banding named after Irish Gaelic put one over for high-security prison house house cells. The band's initial batting order featured singer/rapper Henning "MC-H" Wehland, guitarist Tim Tenambergen, bassist Stefan "Gudze" Hinz, and drummer Johann-Christoph "Mason" Maass; singer/rapper Jacques Louis David Gappa was added in 1992. The German sound out Sing Sing issued their debut book album, Clock clip to Make a motion, in 1994, which became something of a shoot in German-speaking Europe. Followup Get wind My Soul appeared in 1996, consolidating their popularity; the undermentioned yr, Maass was laid-off from the chemical group and replaced by Marco Minneman.
